Watson Electric Co., Inc was founded in 1963 by Palmer Watson. Palmer had previously worked as a Charlotte City Electrical Inspector and always tried to treat people fairly and with respect, as that is how he wanted to be treated. His goal had always been to start an electrical contracting firm that would provide quality workmanship, while respecting the industry and employees. With a family to support, it was even more important to him to retain his standards and Christian ethics. These ethics and standards were instilled in Palmers children, too.

Kathy Kiser, Palmer’s daughter, took over and is the current owner of Watson Electric Co., Inc. She has worked at Watson for over 35 years, and along with her husband Rodney, are running the company by integrating their Christian ethics and standards. Because the company was originated with a strong ethical background, it was Kathy’s goal to maintain these practices. Her attitude toward business is to keep everything honest, respectful and to do the best job possible.
